Behind the result - No mystery in the method
Apply a starting value, positive integer step and direction. Advance adds the step when counting up. Counting down subtracts the step but stops at 0; the final subtraction may therefore be smaller than your step. Undo restores the previous value. Reset returns to the applied starting value, not necessarily 0. This is a manually operated counter, not a clock or deadline timer. Values and results stay between 0 and 999,999,999.
The tool does not store counts on a server or track you. It does not fetch, validate or confirm bookings, live prices or exact rates, and it does not fetch live data. Blank optional fields are omitted from reports. Text is displayed literally, not interpreted as HTML.
Print / Save PDF uses your browser’s print dialog. Text download creates a file on your device. Neither action sends a result to this website. Optional local saving is specific to this tool and this browser; it does not sync between devices.

Before you go
Is this a time countdown?
No. It counts your manual button activations using the step you select. It does not tick with time, send reminders or run a scheduled background task.
What happens at zero?
Counting down stops at zero. If the remaining number is smaller than the step, Advance subtracts only the remaining amount. The counter will not go negative.
Does changing a setting change the current count?
Only pressing Apply settings changes the active start, step and direction. Applying resets the count to the new start after confirmation. Unsaved input changes do not affect the current calculation.
Can I save a custom counter?
Enable local remembering to retain the applied settings and count in this browser. Printed and downloaded reports show the applied settings, not unsubmitted edits.
