CLICKERCOUNTERS / INFORMATION
Accessibility
The counters are built around ordinary browser controls, readable results and clear, visible focus.
Navigation and structure
A Skip to content link leads directly to the main page area. Header and footer navigation use labelled landmarks, logical headings and descriptive links. The Other Pages list uses a native expandable control. On small screens, a Menu button exposes the same links rather than removing information.
Keyboard operation
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links, buttons and fields. Enter or Space activates a focused button. Each numeric setting has a label and displayed limits. Buttons have visible focus indicators. There are no global keyboard shortcuts that hijack normal typing or scrolling.
The CPS target can be activated with a keyboard, mouse or touch, but held-key repeats are ignored. Input methods produce different practice results; the tool does not rate a person’s ability. The untimed Online Click Counter provides an alternative if a timed test is not suitable.
Visual readability and movement
The layout adapts to narrow screens, keeps controls touch-friendly and allows text to reflow. Result numbers wrap rather than force the entire page sideways. Text and primary controls use a high-contrast dark and light green pair. Meaning is conveyed in words and numbers, not color alone. The interface does not depend on animation and respects reduced-motion preferences.
Results and feedback
Untimed results use polite live announcements. Rapid CPS activations are not all announced; the test has a concise completion status instead. Validation and storage errors are shown as text near the controls. A missing field or blocked storage does not require interpreting a color.
Every counter offers a plain-text download that can be read without the visual layout. The print view removes navigation and editing controls and includes the method and result. Browser print and file dialogs are outside the page’s control and depend on your system.
Known limits
The CPS test is inherently timed and requires repeated activation. Browser and assistive-technology combinations vary, and no formal conformance certification is claimed. JavaScript is needed for interactive counting. A no-script notice is displayed if it is unavailable. Local storage is optional, not a prerequisite for temporary use.
Feedback and alternatives
If you encounter a barrier, visit Contact and describe the page, control, expected behavior and any relevant browser or assistive technology. Do not include sensitive counts. A local message download is available even before the site owner publishes a support address. We do not promise a response deadline, but clear reproduction steps make a fix easier.
