HELP WITHOUT THE GUESSWORK
Frequently asked questions
How the tools work, what stays on your device and how to keep a copy of your result.
Are all six tools free?
Yes. The included counters have no paid tiers, usage fees or sign-up gates. You can enter counts, inspect the method and export a result without creating an account. The site does not process payments.
Where does my count go?
The active state is held in this page’s memory. If you opt into Remember on this device, the relevant tool’s state is also written to local storage in this browser. Counter inputs are not submitted to a server or placed in result URLs.
Will my count still be here tomorrow?
Only if you enable local remembering and the browser keeps that storage. Private browsing, storage restrictions, cleanup software, a different site address or a different device can remove or separate the copy. Download anything important rather than relying on browser storage as your only record.
What is the difference between remembering and downloading?
Remembering helps restore a tool on this browser. Downloading creates an ordinary text file on your device that you can move, archive or share yourself. Clearing browser data does not delete an already downloaded file, and clearing a file does not clear a remembered count.
Can I print or save a PDF?
Use Print / Save PDF on a tool page. The browser prints a clean report containing the current result, applied settings, timestamp and method. Choose a PDF destination if your browser offers one. A CPS report requires a completed test.
Can someone open my result from a shared link?
No public result links are generated. A link to a tool opens the tool itself, not your count. To share a result, send a downloaded report or PDF using a service of your own choice. Review its contents first, especially optional labels and notes.
How is clicks per second calculated?
The CPS Test divides accepted target activations by the chosen test duration. It counts only activations within the measured window and rounds the final score to two decimals. A test interrupted by switching tabs is discarded, and hardware differences mean scores are not standardized benchmarks.
Is the up/down counter a timer?
No. It changes only when you manually press Advance. You choose the starting value, positive step and direction. Counting down stops at zero; counting up has a displayed numeric limit. It does not run a clock or schedule reminders.
How do session logs work?
Log snapshot records the current tally and your device’s date and time, plus an optional note. It does not clear the tally. Each snapshot after the first also shows the difference from the preceding snapshot. The tool accepts up to 200 entries and offers a spreadsheet-compatible CSV download.
Can labels contain symbols or markup?
Yes, within the displayed length limits. Labels and notes are treated as literal text, not interpreted as HTML. Blank optional fields are omitted from reports. CSV notes with formula-like prefixes are protected so they are not intended to run as spreadsheet formulas.
Can I use the tools with a keyboard or phone?
Yes. Buttons and inputs use standard browser controls, visible focus indicators and responsive layouts. Tab moves between controls; Enter or Space activates a focused button. The CPS target ignores held-key repeats. If timed clicking is difficult, use an untimed counter instead.
How can I delete saved tool data?
Use Clear this tool’s saved data to remove the selected tool’s local copy and return it to its initial state. Switching Remember off removes that tool’s remembered copy but keeps the current in-page result. Browser settings can also clear storage for this site. Downloads must be removed separately.
Do the tools fetch data or verify activity?
No. The results come only from the inputs and activations you supply. They do not fetch live data, detect repetitions, verify session events or confirm external records. They are personal planning aids, not professional advice or authoritative evidence.
Why might data differ between two open tabs?
Each tab has its own live state. Optional remembered copies can be overwritten by a later change in another tab; there is no live cross-tab synchronization or merging. For a reliable personal workflow, use one tab per tool and export before opening a competing session.
What if a count is important?
Keep a separate, reviewed record and download periodically. Manual entry can be wrong, device clocks can be inaccurate and browser data can disappear. Do not use these counters as the sole source for safety, financial, legal or other high-stakes decisions.
