Our Commitment to Privacy

Counter Pro is operated by Kashif Aziz from Pakistan. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use clickercounters.com. It applies to the counter tool and to every page on this site.

The short version is that this site is built to work without knowing who you are. Your counts belong to you and they stay on your device.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your phone number to use the counter. We do not sell personal information to anyone.

Your counter values, step size, limits and theme choice are saved in your own browser using local storage. That data never leaves your device and we cannot read it. Clearing your browser data removes it permanently.

What Is Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page loads. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the time of your visit. It is used to keep the site running, to fix errors and to understand which pages are useful. It is not linked to any individual.

We may use analytics tools to measure page views and general traffic patterns. These tools report totals and trends rather than personal profiles.

Cookies and Advertising

This site shows advertising supplied by Google AdSense. Advertising is what keeps the counter free to use.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of a third party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove ads. It only makes them less relevant to you.

If you would like to know how Google handles data across its services you can read the Google Privacy Policy.

Your Rights in the European Union and the United Kingdom

If you are located in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict how it is used, to object to its use and to receive a copy of it.

Because we do not hold accounts or personal profiles there is usually nothing to retrieve. If you believe we hold information about you, write to us and we will respond within 30 days.

Where advertising cookies require consent, that consent is requested before personalized ads are served and you can withdraw it at any time through your browser settings.

Your Rights in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA, California residents may request to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted and to opt out of its sale or sharing.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by California law. You can still contact us to exercise any of these rights and we will not treat you differently for doing so.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will remove it.

Data Security and Retention

Server logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted. The site is served over HTTPS so traffic between your browser and our server is encrypted.

Links, Changes and Contact

Our pages sometimes link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Our Disclaimer explains this in more detail.

We may update this policy when the site changes or when the law changes. The date at the top always shows the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Questions about this policy are welcome. Write to [email protected] or use our Contact page. We reply within 24 to 48 hours. You may also want to read our Terms and Conditions and learn more About us.
